Default C8 Wheels on a C5

Has anyone installed C8 wheels on the C5? If so, what were the challenges and how did it work out? Thanks.

I don't think the bolt pattern is even that same. I know the C7 is 5x120.65 and the C8 is different from that. Google says its 5x120. May not sound like much but I'm sure it's enough to make a difference.

Yes, different bolt pattern and offsets. I have seen folks do it with modifications and adapters, I wouldn't recommend it. Look at some C6 or C7 wheels (narrow body), those are direct bolt, but you might want to add a small spacer on the rears.

Yes, it has been done a number of times, bolt pattern difference is negligible, 5x120.65 to 5x120, not a problem at all.
The real issues is the center bore, C8 wheels use 66.2mm I believe and C5 is 70.3mm, so to properly install the C8 wheels you need to open the center bore out.
Offsets are very close to right, might want about a 6mm spacer for the rear.

Thanks. Much appreciate the info. I think it would look good (at least it would be pretty unique)
