C5 Mechanic Needed
I have an issue with my car not starting and or dying while driving and not restarting. No fuel pump initializing. Cranks fine and fires briefly like on fuel vapors only. Runs fantastic when it's running. Been through the obvious, fuses, relay, grounds, fuel pump, filter to no avail. I'm looking for a good C5 mechanic in NW Ohio. Can anyone recommend someone in my area. Willing to trailer it some distance if I have to... Thanks...

I did a google search for you. First thing that came up is Northwest Speed LLC, Liepsic OH

im from IL and never heard of these shops. If your willing to travel 300 miles, check out finish line performance in Plainfield IL, speak with Dan Bills, hes been an LS guy for 30 years.

You might try asking on the Great lakes site on the Forum, I am sure there are places near you they might recommend. I am sure they are many good sites near you as close as Toledo, Detroit, Cleveland and Columbus, etc.

You don't need a "C5 Mechanic"...mechanics only replace parts...you need to find a diagnostician that can diagnose any car !!..you already spent 2,000 at a dealership that didn't fix it...dealerships are mechanics so they only replace parts too.

Bruce Thomas in Brownsburg IN. He knows c5s. Has worked on tons of them. He did my recent build for my c5z. I've taken my car to him multiple times and always have the car back better. If you're willing to trailer that far, he will get it figured out. He's a wizard.
