No not a Stingray.

You could but you would make the natives restless.

I would recommend against it, but it's your car.

They should've just stuck with it once they came up with it in "63, since it means nothing, but sounds cool. It means nothing, it doesn't indicate special options, or a package and never has... it means nothing. Chevrolet stole the name from us lowly C4, 5 & 6 owners, damn cretins.

Loved the script emblem on my ‘73, not sure where I would put on the C5, but interested if you mock something up.

Put a Stingray emblem on a C5 if you want to be the butt of jokes and ridicule.

I wouldn't belittle a C5 Corvette with a Stingray emblem (most non Corvette people wouldn't notice) but I'd know that particular C5 was not originally designated a "Stingray".

I would not put a C7/C8 Stingray emblem on a C5. Just does not look proper on a non-Stingray car. Now if you can come up with a custom emblem for the car, that might be an option.

What makes it a Stingray? The marketing department. Nothing else. Some years yes, some no. It's kind of ridiculous.

they love to argue on FB that it doesn't matter as it's a Corvette emblem. My comment is yea so is an M badge on a BMW M4 but it doesn't belong on a 330i 4 banger or a F350 badge on a F150.
