Somehow the actuator pin fell out of the headlight bucket. This is the pin that holds the motor arm onto the bucket.. Thankfully I found the pin laying down below the headlight - but the little push-on retainer washer was gone. Amazingly Home Depot bailed me out and these little 3/8 inch E-clips fit nicely with a bit of friction.. Will have to see if this is a permanent fix…
Next problem - after getting it all together the headlight has excessive play - I tracked it down to this bushing that fits into the end of the motor control arm - I don’t think Home Depot will be able to help me with this one. Is it available?
