Default 97 base auto oiling the door hinges.

looks like rain today so i thought i would oil the door hinges. oiled everything possible but still getting that slight noise when you just start to close it from a full open. it's up on ramps so i can see under pretty good. oiled everything including the spring. it's driving me nuts. been working it back and forth for a while but it's still there. not much but still there. any ideas?

I use white lithium grease as it tends to hold better and if you have a small acid brush, you can work the lube down and into the roller of the door hinge, the drivers side it is on top and the passenger side it is on the bottom. They use the same hinge, just turn it upside of the passengers side.

Marine lube FTW! If you're still having issues, you might want to actually clean and then relube the hinges. With all the pollen out there mixed with oil you could be gumming up the works.

I have lithium in a spray can. Seems to push the grease into the joints well.
