Default Spacers question

I thinking of adding spacers on the rear of my vette to give it a more flush look. Any issues using spacers on these cars? What brands are recommended?

Run spacers on my car, had to to make the C6 wheels fit properly.
I bought mine off amazon, forged 6061 aluminum, works fine.
You won't need them as thick if just spacing stock C5 wheels though.

Lots of people are using hubcentric spacers on their cars. I have and never had an issue.

Those wagon wheels are 17x8.5 with a +56 offset and the rears are 18x9.5 with a +57 offset. You could probably run a 6mm spacer to move them out 1/4". Any thicker spacer will either require replacing the oem wheel studs with longer units or going with a 20mm spacer with its own studs. The latter will still require trimming the oem studs approximately 1/4" and that thick a spacer will result in wheel poke.

Yes. The oem studs are only 32mm long. If it were my car, I would try some 20mm spacers, with their own studs. You will have a small amount of poke but I prefer that over the sunken look.

I've seen some guys use 10 or 12mm spacers with ET Mags style lugs, but you might have to drill the lug holes in the wheels bigger for the lug nut shank to fit through.
Doing that allows the lug to grab enough threads on the studs without going to longer studs.
