The best quality C5 boots I've found are by a vendor on eBay that made my shifter, ebrake and console cover in the most amazing smelling leather.
I had a custom request of making the boots in a C7 leather color that is not normally offered for a C5 cut pattern but she took care of my request with no problems.
I searched “Shift Boot 6-Speed OE Style Leather Compatible with C5 Corvette 1997-2004” and it came up as an Amazon listing for $50, including the mounting ring. On order.
a lot of off-topic posts here…. Simple answer is yes you can use a C6 shift boot in a C5 with some minor modifications….. I bought a new ring from somewhere online just so I could save my original boot in original condition when I did my C6 shifter and **** swap….. C6 boot is cheaper feeling leather but can easily be removed from C6 plastic retainer ring and mounted to your original C5 or an aftermarket replacement C5 retainer ring…. Several ways to attach it… I did rivets

PM me if you'd like the store business info
J-F Customs? Looks pretty darned close if not. And looks good too!
I spring for the CF end cap for the e-brake handle. I'll install it that way and see how I like it. If not, I'll toss an OEM on there and spray it a few coats of black. The dark tan looks really good. I still dream of Kalahari for the EBZ.
^ no it wasn't from JFCustoms. I believe JF is an outfit from overseas...the UK if recall correctly.
The folks I grabbed my leather goodies from are based out of Texas. Being "local", the time from my custom request to fabrication to being shipped to my door was less than a week.
I don't know if sharing their info publicly will affect a current CF vendor so I'll keep it to PMs for now.
