Traction control, active handling, ABS redux
I have not owned a C5 for years. So, could some of you experts with the C5 please review and confirm:
If any of these black boxes go out that control these three systems--ABS, traction control, active handling--I assume you can still drive the car, shift the transmission, apply the brakes, etc., just without the additional assistance these modules provide.
For example, you can apply the brakes and they will work just like mechanical brakes always work, but they will not have the ABS function available.
Please confirm my thoughts, or tell me where I'm wrong, as to each of these three systems.

Yes, car will still drive.
But, are you actually having failures or are the dash lights just coming on?
If you are actually having failures, you need a good code reader that will scan abs codes to see what's going on.
