Default Wireless Carplay adapter

I have a Kenwood double din in my C5, and it has the wired connection into the arm rest. Has anyone experimented with the wireless adapters you can get?

The wiring should be the exact same color coordination as your current DD Kenwood. I believe that all manufacturers have the same universal color codi g for speaker wiring. Since you have an aftermarket head unit already, all the hard stuff is already done. You'd just have a new head unit with built-in wireless carplay/AA.

I don't know how married you are to Kenwood but I have had a DD from them in the past. The sound quality of Alpine is a clear audible difference between the two brands. I am currently using an Alpine ilx-507 which is a great modern unit that has all the latest bells and whistles.. However it doesn't play CDs if that's still your thing

That's good feedback. I am not a huge fan of the Kenwood, it was just the brand my go to shop uses. I would love to actually have buttons and better sound quality. I may look into that.

For anyone that goes down this path, I purchased the adapter from Crutchfield and it works perfect. Cheaper than getting a new receiver.
