Default ABS light and code C1214

Hey all, I apologize in advance if this has been asked/answered or belongs in another forum, please direct me if that is the case.

This past winter I rebuilt the LS6 on my 02 Z06 due to a snapped timing chain. I did have the ABS module unplugged and the steering rack out of the car.

When I finally got it running a few months ago, it threw the ABS and TC lights after a few drives. Scanning brought up code C1243 (stuck ABS pump). I tried exercising the ABS on back roads and running the wheels at 9mph with the car in the air, but the codes kept returning after I cleared them. I finally sent my EBCM to Brandon at ABSfixer. Got the module back, continued to have the same problems. C1243 would activate with burnouts or hard stops, and I would clear them.

At some point after a long burnout I reactivated the ABS and TC lights, but was not able to clear them. This time the code was C1214 (ABS solenoid error) and was persistent. Brandon graciously agreed to look at it, so I sent it back in. Got it back today, put it into the car and everything seemed fine. Took it out in the rain (totaled, I know), and immediately got the lights back on with a little fishtail around a corner. C1214 again, and I cannot get it to clear.

I am at my wits end on which direction to go for diagnosing this. Things I've considered:

Wheel speed sensors
Ground issues
Bad connection at the main EBCM plug (the plastic end has some damage but the pins are all intact)
ABS pump needs replaced
Steering wheel position sensor

I would love some advice on what to do next. Did I blow the solenoid twice? Or could C1214 be indicative of something else? If I did, what could cause it to blow twice?

Some other details that may be pertinent. I have had at different times codes C1218, C1277, C1236. All of these have only showed up once and been cleared without issue. I also did at one point drive the car with the ABS plug disconnected and believe I may have damaged the end of the plug. Picture below. Feel free to call me an idiot for this, I am not convinced this is the root of my issues as it happened after I got the module back from Brandon, but I am open to feedback on what that could cause and how I could fix it. I also have not flushed the brake fluid recently, but again, my gut is telling me that won't make a difference.

I am open to trying to source a junkyard plug and repin the original harness into the new plastic end. I am also open to attempting to rebuild the pump, or deleting the ABS altogether. I would just like to hear some input on what to try first or what I may be missing.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

I'm not certain it will fix your issue, but I would replace that plug either way. The C5 is very sensitive to electrical issues, and who knows what might happen if you have pins with intermittent connection issues. Even if it doesn't fix the current issue, it would still be worth doing.

Will do, just ordered a pigtail off Fleabay. I am going to try to repin the donor plug with the original harness and pins, rather than splicing 33 wires (or however many it is).
