I noticed my LS1 PCV hoses on the intake were getting pretty dryrotted and cracked. So I did the only logical thing, and decided to throw a host of things at the car. LS6 valley cover, removed the AIR system, new knocks sensor and harness, relocating a new oil pressure sensor, four port steam vents, plugs, wires, Holley valve covers w/ LS3 coils, Blackwing, and probably something else or two I'm forgetting
Anyways, I'm waiting on some parts, so here's a tore open top end. I'll post some more as I go. Besides re-taping some loose wire loom and general cleaning, anything I should aim to tackle while I'm this far in?
Valley cover installed and new knock sensors torqued to spec. Need to pop off the bottom driver side fender line to remove the AIR pump but that's tomorrow's problem. Rest of the parts arrive next week.
Which knock sensors did you go with? Only asking because in the last several years many [including myself] have replaced them "preemptively" and ended up with knock sensor faults. Many brands including AC Delco are triggering this issue.

I went with NAPA MPE DKS238SB after some research. QC on parts these days is rough. I'm honestly just hoping for the best lol I bought a new GM harness for them too.
Here is the oil pressure sensor relocation mocked up. Hopefully no leaks lol
Old spark plugs pulled, new TR55s installed and torqued to spec. Little bit of oil on every plug, with cylinder #8 having the "most." I may add a catch can to the project.
