Recently have been trying to install C6 Z06 shocks on my 03 C5 Z06, however every single one has come with a cracked dust boot cover. I ordered originally from the jungle site both showed up with cracked dust boots. Ordered another one from the R-auto site and that one has arrived as well with a cracked boot. Has anyone else been dealing with this issue? Seems to be a quality control issue!

Amazon is usually pretty good about stuff like that. Contact customer service and tell them that your order was damaged. They should send you a replacement for free. They might make you return the damaged one, but they'll pay for the shipping.

I have one from Amazon on the way they ran out of stock with no new ship date. I should have it tommorow. I returned the other one and bought different one from R-auto and have another replacment coming for that one.
It almost seems as if the plastic boot they are using is to small to fit over the metal shock collar, Not sure where they were stored but it seems to either expand a little then causes cracking. Im surprised this has never been mentioned anywhere or others haven't noticed when they put them on. I have never had this much issues with a car part ever.
