Sorry to hear about your injector trouble. My friends Z06 on the way to the 2002 Corvettes at Carlisle did the same thing as what you have described. I checked each connection under the fuel rail covers and at each injector all were fine. I added in a 4 oz. bottle of Red Line S-1 Fuel Injector Cleaner and he drove off for about 5 miles. Guess what- no more check engine light, roughness or problems! I'm not saying this is a cure all but worth a try. What type fuel are you using and the mileage on your Z06- Do a fuel pressure test to see if the filter is partially clogged (bad fuel load(s)).

This happend to me, #7 injector quit working and was getting a bad misfire. Then, I couldn't start the car anymore.
Diagnosis after the third trip to the dealership; cut/frayed injector wire. Seems it was resting on the enginer block.
This happend approx. 6 months ago, no problems so far...
