Default Getting into 1st Gear getting harder!

I have about 23,000 miles on my '02 Z. Of late, 1st gear is becoming more difficult to engage after waiting for lights to change, etc. Has anyone else experienced this? Have any of you lost hydraulic fluid from your clutch system?

Hopefully it isn't a syncro problem. Check the fluid quality and level. If you have an aftermarket shifter you may wish to remove the stops. If they're not adjusted properly full engagement may not occur. This is not a good thing.

Good luck.

Agreed, I had to take my aftermarket shifter stops out. It was a real blast driving home in 2, 4, 6th
