Default Newbie Question

Hi there,
I'm a newbie here
Great board/online forum you got yourself here
My name is Anton and I drive beautiful 2k1 Trans am WS7 :D

Have a question, i might be buying a z06 soon and the question is do i have to go through the dealerships or i can order directly from the factory?

Is there any special performance packages for z06, something like ws6 performance package for trans am? What else should i know when i talk to a dealer? Anything tricky about this car ?

What rear end gears does it come with from the factory ? 3.42?

I love vettes    :auto:

The Z06 IS the performance option for the corvette. The only other options are: body side molding, memory seats, auto-dimming mirrors.... I think that is it. yes, you have to go through a dealer. I would recommend asking some of the dealers who are supporting vendors of this site. Some great deals have been made and the car can be delivered wherever you would like after the deal is made.

Hope this helps

Not to toot my own horn too loudly, but I have helped several folks here in San Diego into new Z06's, typically around $4K off MSRP. :seeya

Private messaging: Try the IM button under the screen-name on the left

As far as deals go, ask around, etc. I paid around $6-7 off MSRP for mine new at a local dealer (Texas)

Good luck!
