Sorry for running down a rat hole, I know I have seen threads for tires before....need new skins for my 02 Z06...would like to (if possible) go wider and would like decent wet road handling....can anybody help with a recommendation?

Wet road handling is fairly decent with the F1's it's the standing water that you need to avoid. Lot's of testing has been done to support same. New skins make all the difference and may just refresh your memory.;) Changed a set recently myself and couldn't be happier.

I too, was wondering what tire to go with. I was down to 2-3/32nds on the rears and finally decided to go with original "meats", Goodyear F1 Supercar's.
At 10,000 miles (a daily driver with about 40 1/4 "runs" on them and a wee bit of autoxing) they lasted fine for me. I did notice that the inside two inches of the tire was almost smooth down to the wear bars?
Wonder why they would wear on the inside like that? :confused:
