Protects behind each wheel (replaces mud flaps). It also includes insert pieces to protect the painted area that wraps into the wheel well behind each wheel. Good for all C5’s/Z06

Kit#18 – C5 FRONT OF REAR WHEEL Protects the lower rocker where it flares out in front of the rear wheels. 18”

Kit #64 – COMBO kit Protects behind each wheel (replaces mud flaps). It also includes insert pieces to protect the painted area that wraps into the wheel well behind each wheel. All I hear is great things about Cleartastic... figured I gotta get me some of these.

Gave Ed a call and can't say enough about how impressed I am with the service... he explained what it is all about and how to install them for the best results.

Guess I'll be a washin and a waxin a Vette this weekend :cheers:

 

Just ordered mine earlier today...can't wait to put them on. Ed was more than helpful at answering all my questions (sure had plenty of them). From the way he was explaining, shouldn't be too hard to put on :cheers:

 

great product and great proteciton. I don't leave home without them on the car. just make sure you take your time and exercise some patience. they are well worth the effort!!! P.S. sometimes the first time install is the hardest but as you take them off and put them on it becomes easier because you establish your own techniques. I show my car and never take them off for shows. WCJ

 

These sound :cool: , but can the members help me out with the following:

1. How noticeable on Black?
2. Does the Cleartastic adhere as well over a Zaino base?
3. Whats the downside to having them on?

I'm interested in anything that will mitigate chips, but is this product as good as it sounds....... :confused:

Knowing that black shows everything, we tweaked how we produce our kits a while back which helped make the kit even less noticeable on black.
With Black you still might see a slight line where the product stops, but the trade off is your paint is protected.

We encourage people to use either a good carnauba wax or Zaino right before applying our kits.

Since there are no adhesives, you have the option to remove them when you want, or leave them on (like WCJ and most do) and wash over them.

1. I have it on red and its bearly noticable
2. I've had it over Zaino and it still sticks like glue
3. If you take your time to install them properly and don't drive the car until there dry, there is no downside.
