My preference is to have the BSM. They give a sleek look to my 2002 Z06. Added benefit is to protect car. Once or twice they protected side panel from dings. :steering:
If you go to the other Z06 web site, you will see that statistics show that half of the Z06 come with BSM, and half without. This poll just mirrors reality! :D
For me it depends on the color of the car. On cars with solid colors, the BSM's look better (black, white, red, yellow). On cars with more intermediate colors I think they look better without (blue, silver, mag red).
When i was at the dealer, I saw a Vette with the moldings; the moldings took at least 30 nice hits, but the door looked like it never had a ding. I also think they look sleek

Re: Side molding Yes or No (Piranha)
I used to not like them... I dont have them on the 98.. the Z has them... I have grown to love them now... they have also saved me several times from door damage and dings... ... it also adds a nice line with my new skunk werkes kit....
I did not like them before I got my Z. Now that I have them, I love them! Wouldn't have it any other way!
I got a good comparo this weekend at a local meet, I parked next to a Nassau Coupe, and there was no comparo! I think they look like they are missing without them.... Almost looks to "Low profile" to me.
