Rather than the straight ones available now, I would like to see some that come down and curve along with the rear wheel well, so that it is blocked off entirely from the passenger cabin. I gotta believe a lot of the road noise comes from there, and it might further reduce noise to add another layer of sound deadener along that half of the wheel well.
get the foam partition from ecklers and then some black auto carpet and 3M spray glue from walmart,,,,,,,,the foam is contoured to fit the back,,,,,,,total cost is about 55.00 and it looks factory,,,,,no hardware required and totally removeable
If you wanted a quiet car then why didn't you buy a Cadillac???
Enjoy the noise, it's part of owning a high performance sports car!
(Just my opinion.... :blueangel: )
I agree with JACKMOTT that is crap, I've been racing since 1965 and have hearing aids in both ears to prove it, When did loud noise in the cabin make a race car?

I'm with Jack. It's a 50,000 dollar car, they could have cut the noise down from the trunk. I understand the tire noise - that is a function of performance, but they could have designed a lightweight, removable, noise reduction panel as an option for the car.
Oh maybe we could cut the noise down.....maybe we could add sport seats....maybe we could add more options. Don't ya'll get it? This car is what it is....and that is a very capable very affordable(relatively speaking) well rounded sports car. If you can't handle its mannerisms, get something else. All these options to appease a few would just cause the car to be more expensive(as well as being heavier).....there I'm done. And BTW, I have one of Andy's partitions and it works wonderfully. Cuts down the road noise big time.

Did you bother to read what you wrote? First you say take what you get, Your the one that doesn't get it, if this car is "what it is " why did you add a partition?
:bs :bs :bs :bs :bs

To cut down the road noise ya big dork....did YOU read what I wrote??? :jester :jester :jester . Just razzin' ya. I actually got the partition to keep all of my belongings from sliding all the way to the back only to be reunited with them upon deceleration. The road noise is just another benefit as well as the fact that it looks very good.

anybody done this?
Is this the same jack mott from Brian's Riceboy page a LONG time ago? If so, this is "95 Camaro Z28" (Ryan). I think you were at Rice University last time I talked to you.
