Ok, first off, today I went out with my friend and his 911 on some back roads. hit some trippled digets... WOW... smoked his 911.
Well I got home, gave it a bath and noticed some small chips just behind the front wheels. I know this is normal, but I don't like it.
Who has cleartastic? Does it work? ANyone put on mud flaps? and how does it look? I don't think it would look good, but I saw carbon fiber mud flaps for the C5?
I had a similar product installed on my Z from Trim Line. Had it installed behind all wheels and formed onto the brake ducts that really see some damage. The plastic works great!!! :iagree:

I've been thinking about the plastic also, it's not whether your going to get nicks your going to get them.
:nonod:  :nonod:  :nonod:
I suggest you do both Clearastic and mudflaps.
Clearastic alone will not save you from damaging your rocker panels and if you drive at triple digit speeds it will occur.
