I recently changed my 2003 Z06 shocks for the Edelbrock IAC shocks and they are very similar to the stock units, except they are a little softer on irregular pavement. They also feel a little less stable in rough corners. Both types need more rebound in the rear. I put Bilstein HDs on my 2001 Z06 and they handled great, but were a little harsh on rough roads. I had Koni double adjustables on a '96 Trans Am WS6 and they ROCKED! Seperate adjustments for rebound and compression worked really well. The only shocks with double adjustment for the C5/Z06 are the Penske's (as far as I know), but the price makes my butt hurt. The Konis for the C5 are single adjustment for both compression and rebound. The HAL shocks look interesting and can be adjusted on the car (single adjust comp & reb), but I don't know anyone who has installed these. I will probably go with HALs just to find out...

The HAL shocks look interesting and can be adjusted on the car (single adjust comp & reb), but I don't know anyone who has installed these. I will probably go with HALs just to find out.
