[Z06] Engine shake?

Engine shake?
I just bought a used Z06 with 4k miles and I am absolutely thrilled with the car. My only concern is that when I turn off the ignition the motor kind of shakes rather roughly to a standstill. Is this normal for everyone else or should I take it to the dealer?

Yes, thats normal. Try holding the clutch down when you shut it off. It shouldn't make the noise if you do that. Its something with the clutch or pressure plate that causes the rattle noise when shutting off the car.

I had always shut mine off with the clutch in with no problems. It wasn't until some one complained about this that I even thought of trying it the other way. I bet the people that designed it did the same thing.
