Default ZIP TIE MOD

Has anyone had any problems when driving in rain with the top cover of the air box removed and the air filter zipped tied in place?

Thanks,

Nope, you just have to order a hood seal from Ecklers or a place like that. It is basically another strip of weatherstripping like the stuff that seals the sides of the hood but it goes on the bottom to prevent water from rolling down the hood in the rain and dripping on the filter. Works like a charm!

:iagree:
My car is a daily driver and I've had no problems with the zip tie mod and hood seal. I've even checked it after washing the car, you can spray water directly on the front of the hood, and it won't make it inside. :D
