Squeak when headlight goes up and down
One or both of my headlights is squeaking a bit when it goes up and down. Its not real loud and I haven't stood by the lights to figure out which one is doing it yet.
Anyone else seen this? I am going to take in into the dealer soon.

Mine did the same thing about 2 weeks after bringing it home. I don't know why I didn't make the connection earlier, this took almost a week to figure out, but one of my kitties had crawled up in there to snooze in the warm engine bay. Loved the toruqe and horsepower so much they just decided to stay, but he does get a little squished when the pop-up headlights come up. Sorry Mystique!!! :leaving:

First of all, shame on the guy above who abuses cute little kitty cats. I hope Mystique rips your eyeballs out you jerk :nono:
Secondly, the squeeky headlight problem is easily corrected with a can of spray lithium grease. There are pivot points in there that just need a squirt of lube. Takes about 2 minutes and should last for 6 months to a year.
Or you could just take a big jar of vaseline, spread it all over your cat's fur and then cram the feline into the front fender area of the 'vette. Cats usually rub themselves on everything in sight, so your squeeky pivot points will be just fine in a few days. :leaving:

I'll have to try that one on "Tigger" (my cat) I've used a flashlight before, but the laser pointer sounds better. You'd think the kitty would catch on that its not a "real" thing they're chasing after........ :lol:
