I just bought some z06 wheels for my '98. I will still try to use my sensors but am going with a non run flat tire. Does anybody have the part number for the kit that comes with the z06's or any other alternatives? Also, i need tires, any suggestions.

The sensors should mount just fine.
The inflator kit for the Z06 is overpriced. You can go to WallyWorld and get a small compressor, tire goop, valve tool, spare valve and even a seal kit for less than $50 out the door. I think the GM kit is $450+ with the tire goop alone being $50 to replace. You might want to consider not using the tire goop, as it will probably clog your tire sensor. SafetySeal.com has the best kits in the business at around $40, and will probably work to get you to the tire store if you can find the puncture.
if i dont use the sensors, will my computer keep giving me warnings?
chan
Yes you'll get the warnings. The TPS can be turned off with a TECH2.
My suggestion is use the sensors and buy a plug kit. I would only use the tire goop as a last resort to towing.
A nail in the tire causes a slow leak which you can usually air up and get to a tire store. Large punctures that leak quickly can usually be repaired with the plug kit until you can get to a tire store. A blowout won't matter, because nothing will get you going except a tow.
