Default the perfect car

I recently had modifications done to my 2002 Z06 to improve performance without affecting everyday drivability. I decided on Dyno-Tech Engineering in Fort Wayne, Ind. over Lingenfelter mainly because DTE was a smaller operation, and I always had access to Phil Rickard, the owner. It was a gamble, knowing that LPE had a great reputation and DTE was fairly new. I could not be happier with the results. The package consisted of a HD aluminum radiator, intake, H/C package, aluminum flywheel, HD clutch, SW headers with stock cat-back exhaust. It was detuned to 442RWHP/402RWTQ, gets 30mpg on the highway with the a/c on, easy to drive with great power in reserve. I was most impressed with how honest Phil Rickard was, informing me what I could expect, and would actually talk me out of adding something if he didn't think that I would need it. Having owned a 1968 Shelby GT500KR, a ZR1, Porsche 911 Turbo, and a Viper GTS, this is proving to be the perfect car for me. Thanks for the expertise and service to Jackie and Phil at DTE

Boy it is rejoicing to hear a success story like that.
I haven't had such good luck in the past with my Camaro.

I wish I could find something JUST like that out here in the S.F. Bayarea. I wouldn't need any more HP/TQ than that; it's right where I want to be.

Could I ask a personal??? :bb How much was the package - Less the Intake & Radiator??

Good luck with it... I'm guessing it voided warranty though.. :cuss
