Does a Z06 without precats and with diff. Headers make it through smog?
I smog'd my Z06 before I did the mods.....now I want to sell it and wonder what to do.....leave as is? Or have the exhaust system brought back to stock? Money is an issue :(

I think he said the precats. From what I understand, they were added to help emissions when the engine is cold, during normal operation they are not needed, so I would GUESS you will be ok. Why don't you get it checked and find out?

The pre-cats are not needed to pass WI. emissions. I also understand that they were used for a cold start condition as well. With a direct read off the ALDL and no codes showing, the car will pass.
CA. I believe presents a completely different set of rules with a visual inspection as well. I believe they inspect for stock components.
