Price for z16
Corvette Z06 $51,585
Corvette Z06 Commemorative Z16/1SB Option Package $4,335
Corvette Coupe, Convertible Z15/1SC Option Package $3,700

It's very :lol: what some dealers are gonna do to the price of the z16's....they'll probab;y ask $60K :eek: :rolleyes: :mad
So, that brings the price for the Z06 Z16 upto $55920 :eek: .....
I'll only be looking at non-z16 Z's unless the dealers don't mark up they z16's more than $500 over regular z06's (which they will).

I'm not sure why anyone would want the Z16 (racing striped) version. I would wait to see what the C6 brings, especially if it will have 450 HP as reported by Car and Driver. Can't see any reason to spend more for the Z16, just doesn't seem worth it...

Includes (19U) LeMans Blue exterior, C5R LeMans stripe scheme, carbon fiber hood, special badges, special seat embroidery and (P36) Wheels, polished, 5-spoke, Z06-specific aluminum.
It reminds me of some of the "rice burner" upgrades kids get. Stripes, rims, hood, etc... none of it seems worthwhile for the increase in cost.

With the Z16 GM is banking on "collectibility" as in relatively low production to put the car over. :skep: IMHO, the C5 deserved a better send off. :yesnod: The '04 will be a relatively short MY. And, if so inclined, you will be able to purchase a C6 in early March. :yesnod:

Someone on the other Z06 Vette Fourm said that they had a dealer selling them for less then MSRP. I would of bouhgt one had they painted the strips on.
