My Z06 stock exhaust tips have alot of carbon on them and need cleaned and polished. Please suggest best products and methods to shine them back up. Thank you for your help.
Anything will clean them, any wax or mag cleaner or a rag with a little WD-40 on it. The titanitum tips won't tarnish, you just need to cut the soot off of 'em with "anything".

Mine are tarnished big time, but then again I had the car on the track at 550 miles and pretty much turned the mufflers and the tips blue after 6 hours of track time. :chevy
I've got a 2001 Z06, and I'm pretty sure the tips are stainless, and the rest is titanium. They do polish up a bit, but the stains on mine are from heat I think, and it took a lot of polish and polishing to brighten them up well.
Back in my Army days I was introduced to NeverDull for all the brass and other metal polishing we had to do all the time. Works like a champ on the exhaust tips. Go....right now to your local Wal-Mart and spend the $5 for a can that will last you YEARS and polish everything in site. :flag
