Default Front Spoilers

I just looked under my new Z06 and noticed the left and right spoilers don't have a bolt connected to them. The bolts are there but not through the spoilers. It's the one nearest to the center spoiler. I guess GM messed up at the factory. Could someone else look at theirs and see if they have the same problem?

I also noticed the front turn signals had some condensation in both sides. Is this a common thing?

I have also noticed some condensation problems as well, but I think this is normal, not sure?

Don't know about the spoiler, but the condensation is a common problem. However,it's not one you have to live with.My 2 previous C5's had this problem & my local dealer replaced them under warranty.

I hate the thought of a dealership touching this car. I've always had problems with any dealership. They end up creating more problems than they fix. And it never fails, they always scratch something.

I wish we could just get the warranty parts and do the exchange ourselves.

Also the right front spoiler hangs down a bit lower than the rest.

Well I found out the right and left lower spoilers are dealer installed once the car arrives to them from GM. That is why the bolts weren't installed, they messed up. I think my right one is damaged and that is why it hangs lower.

You should wait there while they fix the problem. That way the mechanic won't play around with your car. One time I went to get a rubber seal on my passenger side window replaced under warranty. The mechanic who drove my car into the shop thought I wasn't there and he drove my Z06 hard from the service station into the shop. I agree that some dealership will create more problem than fixing the problem.

I am unable to watch my local chevy dealership as the repair bay is in the rear and customers aren't allowed back there.

I was waiting for my Z to get the steering lock fixed. and saw one of the service people drive another C5 up a lift (real fast) and bottomed it out real bad. Must of scratched all rocker panels real bad. I freaked and yelled is that your vette and started walking over there. The service manager started walking up to me and asked what the problem was. After explaining the problem he went and grabed the younger service worker and took him in the back. Then they gave me a free oil change !?!? (I guess so I would not keep complaining). I wish I had more time I would of tried to find out who's car it was to let them know. I hate the dealers :mad :mad
