[Z06] Package options on 2002 Z06

Package options on 2002 Z06
The day is drawing closer and closer. One day I'll finally post a picture of my 2002 Z06 in my drive way. Until then, I need to make sure I know everything there is to know about the 02 model. Could anyone please tell me the different packages that were offered on this particular year and what I should look into as a definete-must-have. I love the HUD, but what about the perfomance options/packages... were there different ones offered for the 02 Z06? Also, I read something about fluid damping system (?) on the 50th anniversary, was that offered in 02? Thanks! :)

Howdy -
You will love your Z06 when you get it - it was my 2nd C5, and it's an amazing car, especially when you factor in the price - one of the few real performance cars that you can actually drive daily!
The good, and simple news on the Z06, is there are nearly no options - once you select a Z06, you have just a few:
- Electrochromatic Mirrors (auto dim for bright lights behind you)
- Memory Package (for drivers seat, mirrors, etc)
- Body Side Moldings (the bump guards on the side)
- Mod Red Interior (gives you a red/black 2-tone interior, awesome on some color cars)
- Museum Delivery (only for new car orders, pickup at the NCM, very cool)
(Sorry, I didn't know the RPO codes off the top of my head, easy to find though)
That's it - everything else is standard on a Z - 6-speed, the LS6, power drivers seats (pass only manual), the HUD as of '02, climate control AC, etc., etc. - no wheel, no suspenion, no tranny options. There are also a few colors that aren't available on the Z06 as of '02 (like white), but most of the "major" color are available: black, red, yellow, blue, silver
