Default Headers or exhaust?

If you were going to add either headers or new exhaust to your stock 03 Z06, which would you pick and why?

I want either long tube headers or Stinger or XR1 exhaust. (other opinions and suggestions are always welcome)

Thanks

I would do the long tubes first and then do the exhaust later, but you are going to get the most gains with the headers first.

Headers do change the sound and make it a little louder but a combination with the exhaust will be the loudest.

Is there anywhere I can hear exhaust on the Corvette? I was thinking about the Borla stinger I believe but I don't know how loud it would be. Also what do the Corsa exhaust sound like?

No more opinions?

Anyone have any dyno data that might reinforce my decision in either direction?

Also, are there any headers other than FLP's that do not require any welding?

And if i wanted to maintain ther capability to return to stock, would XR1s require any or too much cutting?

thanks again

I'm planning on headers + offroad/x-pipes to eliminate cats and get as much power as possible. Will probably stick with stock exhaust for weight savings.

A bud with an 01 Z06 got the FLP system and kept his Ti mufflers. It sounded great and saved a bunch of wieght.
