I had the pleasure of attending this last December. The best money I've spent other than for the Z06! It is a blast. Gives you a chance to know the limits on a Z06 in a safe controlled environment. Equipment, program and Instructors are GREAT!! Can't say enough good things about the school. You won't be sorry if you go. :steering:

Great school, been there twice and driven on the track in my own car a number of times. You'll have a blast. At this point you may want to wait until fall to go as it gets super hot in Pahrump this time of year (you're only about 30 miles from Death Valley) unless Rupert will swing you a summer deal ;)

Where is the best place to stay when going to the school? I'm looking at mid-september, and it seems like the place is out in the middle of nowhere. Any suggestions (or suggestions on where NOT to go)?

1--Nugget Casino--only hotel/casino that does not have a pool.
2-Saddles West Casino--tell them you want a new room--donot accept a older room.

3-Best Western--clean and quite.

You will be too tired to drive back and forth to LV

all 3 give discounts to BS school drivers.

Talk to Tracey in BS office--Many classes are already sold out.All cars are now Z06

DONOT EXCEED THE SPEEDLIMIT IN TOWN .

Great time and worth every penny. The instructors were very good. At the time I went they still had coupes and Z's. I drove a Z06 about 95% of the time. Stayed at SaddleWest in May. It is clean but dated. Not too many restaurants to chose from. The Winery and Last Chance Steak House were pretty good.

Have a blast and stay on the track.

PS

the most fun you'll ever have with your clothes on!!

Rupert is a class act, great driver and a heckuva teacher - the instructors are terrific and Trasi makes it all happen

all Z06's - lotsa seat/lap/track time (more than the other schools)

treat yourself and attend - you'll never regret it - best driving school value in the country - small class size allows for lotsa individual attention from Rupe and the other instructors

enjoy - I sure did - shoulda gone sooner - can't wait to go back for Level II

Hmm... I'll answer. It is actually very reasonable as Rupert owns the track, so doesn't have additional overhead. Under 3k for 3days in a late model sports car is very inexpensive. He is a less flexible in pricing these days since GM took their cars back, but still a good deal IMHO.

Rupert's quite a character, I chased him for 7 days in T1 at OTC, my stock Viper ran a close 2nd to his Mosler.

I recommend it. Went there with a bunch of folks from the "other" forum, and we had a blast! Got to do some free lapping with Rupert at the end, and the guy is pretty FAST!!!
