Posted this before....had a "popping" noise in the rear-end of my '02. Somebody told me to have Chevy check to see if the half shaft spline ends had rust and bingo! large amount of rust build up on the spline area. Chev cleaned this up and no more noise! Who ever posted that tip....Thanks. I had to tell Chevy to look for it....they tried to give it back with the answer that it was "gear lash"....the Service Manager took a test drive and said it was not right...thanks again

The left rear hub assembly on mine was full of rust, too. Dealer cleaned it under warranty. During winter storage this wheel was close to the garage door and a lot of moisture built up on that side, I noticed.
Something to watch out for. Maybe I'll get it out and drive it more often if there is little snow. :auto:
