3.15 gears
Anyone switch out there 3.42 gears for 3.15 gears? I know this might sound crazy to some of you. I just broke my differential this past weekend and am thinking about trying the 3.15s.
Right now, my car doesnt hook up, really until 3rd gear if being driven aggressively. I think I am no longer at the stage where going to the track is that important to me. HOwever, I dont want to be slow.
Just trying to get an idea what to do. To top it off, I can get 3.15s for around 300 bucks also.
Any opinions?

Its really hard. One group of friends wants me to do 4.11s and start going to the track.
Another group wants me to do 3.15s and play on the highway and be able to put down the power.
I am kinda torn especially after all the busts on 190 these days.

With Street racing becoming a felony here, I went ahead and put in the 4.10s.
I drove 70 miles a day on 190 when it first opened up, and I got into a lot of races with various cars. 3.15s will help there, but then again, what is Mr. police officer officer going to do when he clocks you at a buck thirty?

FYI- we will most likely run 3.15s at the high speed, 155+ roadcourses we run at here for track days, but we will swap them in for the event only.
