[Z06] Clunk!

Clunk!
When I first get into my '03 Z I hear a clunk from right behind the driver's seat. That's usually the only time I hear it, but the other day I heard it again when I got out of the car to pump gas. Any ideas? :confused:

Hi C5LOU -
Sounds like the "rocking seat" TSB to me - my car has this even though it is not in the range of serials that GM lists as having the problem.

Mine actually sounds & feels like the back of the seat itself is flexing in and out which gives it the "clunk" sound. Seems weird, but I can't say for sure what it really is.

I don't know what's inside a Corvette seat, but I swear it feels like the back of the seat itself is flexing in and out and popping back & forth! I'm sure that's not possible, but that's what it sounds like to me!! Of course it couldn't be my 250 lb body, could it???? I'll pass on the Molson's - had a few too many last night!!! :D
