Default Help with an air flow question.

I see mass air flow sensors in the catalogs and was wondering if you can get much power from them or if the computer needs to be reprogramed to get more power?
I also asked someone about a throttle body upgrade and they said it wasnt worth the money. The mass air flow sensors seem to cost a lot for what you gain too.
My other question is I saw a throttle body bypass tube for the LS1 and was wondering if the Z also runs the coolant through the throttle body?

Yes, the Z06 does run coolant thru the TB.

Unless you plan on changing your air filter set-up to an aftermarket (Halltech or Vortex etc.) there is no need to switch to larger TB or MAF. The gains on a stock set-up are minimal if at all.
