[Z06] Black or Chrome wheels?

Black or Chrome wheels?
I can't seem to decide which looks better, Black or Chrome wheels. Black would hide any dust and Chrome is flashy. Anyone have pics for a side by side comparison?

What color is your Z? Black rims look good on TR and MY I think.. The chrome looks good on Black and EB :party:

My Z06 is Yellow. The stock gray just doesn't blend with the rest of the car. I'm interested in rivet type wheels either. I prefer the OEM style wheels.

My vote is for black. Either the wheels like alexws6 has or the Z06 motorsport wheels come in black with a polished lip. Either one would be awesome. :thumbs:

I dont understand the "unless the car is EB" comment. I have 18/19" Black Motorsports on my EB, and it looks WORLDS better than my chrome did. PERIOD. I will upload a pic of side by side for comparo. IMO, the black wheels look BEST on EB(everyone that has seen my car agrees, even someone with black HRE's w/polished lip on a QS), followed closely by silver, then yellow and black as well. The no-no on black wheels would be red, IMO.

i think black wheels look good on all colors of the z. it just looks a bit better on some than others.

Anyone have pics of black (not black with silver edges), on a yellow C5? I want to see an all black OEM wheel. No rivets, no silver edges.

My supra has chrome wheels and I drive the car pretty hard regularly. I can tell you the chrome looks blingy for about the first day/20 miles and then after that gets duller and duller as the brake dust accumilates. Infact everytime I rinse off the wheels its like I just got new wheels. Unless you plan on rinsing the wheels every 50 miles I suggest you go with black especially if you ever decide to go with a more aggresive brake compound that dusts more.
Here is a pic of my car after going hard through the canyons. Hard to tell but the wheels are much much darker and less shiney then when clean. The black Z behind me has black wheels as you can see still perfect :). Click on the pic to enlarge.

rutiger- Those wheels look great, I will defiantly be in the market for the same wheel combo soon. I notice your from my neck of the woods :yesnod: Where exactly is Eagle Point? I'm not familiar with the town or neighborhood...
