Weight difference on exhaust
I'm thinking about adding the Borla Stinger Quad 2 .
Anybody know the weight difference of the stock Z06 and the Borla?
Don't want to add weight just to be louder.

Re: Weight difference on exhaust (ALLKAR)
If I'm not mistaken, there's quite a diff.
About 35 lbs for the Borla's compared to 13's for the Ti's.
IMO, unless you really love the sound, the extra few HP are nulified by the extra weight.

Re: Weight difference on exhaust (ALLKAR)
I got the Corsa Z series (titanium) competition exhaust, it weighs much less than the original Z06 titanium(17.5lbs less) and it have a great sound. The good thing is that you can get rear mufflers later if you want to quiet things down.
Take a look at

horsepower can't nullify weight differences.
weight affects more than just acceleration =)
