Default GM fix a flat

Do you have to replace tire sealant with the GM (DUNLOP) or can I use something else. It's expensive!

You can use any tire sealant. There is nothing special about the GM stuff, as a matter of fact I'd guess that it's just rebranded Slime or something similar. When I bought my 01, the sealant was empty so I threw a couple of cans of Fix-a-Flat in the trunk instead. Haven't had to use them on the Z, but I've used them several times in the past on other high performance tires (up to 315/35R17) with no problems.

I missed this topic earlier, so excuse me for bringing it back up. Does using products like this have any adverse effect on the tire pressure sensors, and how many cans does it take to inflate a tire enough to get you to help? Thanks

Do not use fix-a-flat on a tire/wheel with pressure sensors installed. It will
surely mess them up.
