We tried everything. Vise grips didn't work, just about broke two philips head screw drivers trying to pry it out with equal pressure on both sides. I was at my wits end.

The idiot tech(before I bought it) pounded mine in with a hammer :mad . I had to drill the key out. I never thought to hack it off :D .

It would have been much faster with a sawzall  .

I took the pics. :)

That damn key wasn't coming out. Mine was tough, but two screw drivers prying at once finally got it. Jumper's wasn't moving, at all. His car had the shift fork changed right before he bought it and I guess they took out the shifter. The dealer broke off most of the sides on the key before we go there. The rest came off during the prying...so don't give him too hard of a time.

Either way... the B&M and Momo is a huge upgrade.

I installed B&M Ripper and a Momo Superanitomico shift ****. The ironic thing is that we completely forgot to take a picture after it was all said and done. :steering:
