Best tire?
I'm having trouble hooking up and need some advice on aftermarket tires. Should I go with stock size drag radial or should I just get some bigger meats? I have a friend with a 03 KB Cobra who is putting down about the same HP as my 6 and he's walking me pretty much right from the start. He's running some BFG drag radials will these ruin my handling? I like to do more that go straight. PS- for the guys who race watch those kb cobras...fast as hell! :crazy:

most of the drag radials handle just fine. They are a soft compound, and when inflate to normal pressures work great for handling.
unless you often go through sweepers on the street 3 wide with a ferrari on one side and a lotus on the other I think youll do ok.

I have run DRs on the street and they are far from the same as a normal tire for handling, not only do they have a soft tread, they have a soft sidewall and will be very spongy at speed especially on a highway. They are OK for driving too and from the track, but I would not recommend them for every day tires.
