Default Still ANOTHER 2004 shock upgrade done

just got done doing these on my 2002 Z06

The ride definitely does not feel harsher. The shocks definitely feel stiffer during quick steering inputs.

I'll be autocrossing tomorrow and sunday, and I will post more about how they feel there.

This is an easy DIY job. Just gotta have the tools. Youll need a torque wrench, 24mm socket and 24mm wrench (or two 24mm sockets)

some 13, 15mm wrenches and sockets, and a 6mm wrench (or some other trick to get the top nut off the front shocks)

Took me 3 hours with the help of a friend.

Makes ya feel good when you accomplish something like what you did, and even better when the outcome is sweet. :flag :chevy

$400ish from Ken Fitchner Chevy

Shocks felt good at the autocross today. Car has the same balance and feel, they just seem a bit stiffer really.

I spent a lot of the day continually fixing my alignment, so I didn't get a real good feel for the car. I will post again after tomorrows event.

I did managed the fast time of the day, and I was on street tires =)
