Does anyone know where to buy a bracket that attaches to the rear view mirror of the C5 Z06 that a Valentine 1 radar detector will mount to? Saw one at the recent Fun Fest. The owner could not recall where he bought it. Others that I talked to have seen them mounted on Corvette rear view mirrors but can't recall where they have seen them for sale. It does not appear to be a Valentine option. Looks like a good location to mount the radar detector within easy reach and up high in the windshield and you can eliminate the suction cups on the windshield. Also a good location for concealed hard wiring power to it.

Have you had any problems with the bracket?? Should I get one?
Definitely get it. I haven't had any problems with it. Just make sure you put one of those small rubber dots in between the top of the V1 and the bottom of the mirror. Stops the V1 from moving around and rattling every time you hit a bump. Take your time poutting it in and do it right, and you shouldn't have any problems. I love mine.
I have that bracket as well. I had to do some minor tweaking/bnding of the bracket to get everything lined up and straight. Also, to keep it from vibrating, I mounted it very tight up against the bottom of the mirror. But, after that it has worked great.
