I just could NOT resist......
taking my Z06 airbox lid and opening it up. Let me tell you something............with Vararams going for $350.............no way! I spent 30 minutes with a dremel tool and have ALL of that, and cost is.....$0.00
What a huge difference! 2nd gear is almost useless............Those with the "zip tie" mod............you don't need no "stinking" Vararam, Halltech or Vortec Cold Air induction........and I have had them all........... :yesnod:

Well my 02 with the ziptie for 9 months out of every year will be sucking in the super cool 100 degree air of Texas. my car probably just gained back lost horsepower from crap air, at least its fairly dense air.
