launch rpm
The local strip is allowing time trials and grudge matches this week and next so I'm thinking of going out there. I have been away from this for awhile so it will be a little tricky for me. I have a 02 z06 what should I try to launch at? I had a 01 and tried 2600 it seemed a bit much Car is stock. :chevy

When I am autocrossing I try to keep the rpms between 2000 and 2200 on a warm day with good tires. With the cold weather in up state New York last Saturday I had to drop down to 1500 and was still getting excessive wheel spin.
