I was heading to downtown Toronto so I jumped on Hwy. 410 South. Some 'riced' out Acura cut in at the last second, a little tight for my liking on the lane onto the on-ramp. Stayed close to his but on the ramp, and as we joined the highway, I could hear he floored the ricebox, with the big puff of smoke out of the 5" exhaust.... :rolleyes:. I flashed my high beams, and blasted past him as any self respecting Vette owner would do to some 130 HP Ricebox that's asked for it. I slowed down quickly, and settled into the left lane, at a leisurely 70 mph. Well, the ricer caught up to me, and was tailing me closely. I was tempted to let him beside me, then blast him again, but figured it wasn't worth it, so I pulled over to the middle lane, and let him buy. He floored it past me, so I slid in behind him, and tailed him at a safe distance. I had to do ~95 mph to keep up to him (60 mph Zone). Literally no more than 10 seconds later, I saw a marked Police cruiser pull from the center median behind a bridge, just as I passed his hiding spot.
I took my foot off the gas, and pulled into the middle lane. Don't think the Acura saw him cuz he kept on going. Few sec's later, the Cruiser wailed past me (whew), and a few seconds after that, the Police cruiser had the Acura pulled over! Could not help but giggle as I past them..............

If I had nailed my Z when I was tempted to do so, I would have easily been into the 100's! And I would have likely been in front. Damn, that would have been very painful and expensive.

Oh well, chalk one up for restraint!
