Are there aftermarket accessories that fit where the ashtray delete panel is. I am just curious--cd changer, storage tray, cosmetic novelties? Seems such a waste with just a plastic cover there. Please provide links if applicable. Thanks!
Updated - I actually don't have an ashtray or cigarette lighter; just a plastic cover there.

Is that not the stupidest design ever? :smash: If you have your phone or radar detector plugged in, the stupid little ashtray lid has to be open. :skep: Who's the retard that designed that one?

Use the accessory plug in the console to power these items. There is a notch in the console that allows you to close to top without crushing your power cord.

Actually my garage remote fits in there really nicely! You only need that a couple of times per drive so you can keep the door shut most of the time.

I removed the ashtray and put my Sirius Satellite/Kenwood Music Keg FM Adaptor in there, lets me control 100 CDs (variable bit mp3s) on my music keg in the trunk and I can close the little door to hide it. People always wonder how my radio plays so much music when I never change CDs. They can't see the adaptor behind there and the music keg is hidden in da' trunk.

Why put a radio in you Corvette when you have an orchestra that begins at your engine and continues out the exhaust. I have never listened to my radio, the engine sounds much much better. I think they radio should be an option in the Z06.

lol, uh... it might have something to do with the fact I live in Florida and my parents live in Indiana... I can make the trip in 10 hours (850 miles) and what? - I'm going to listen to the engine the whole time? lmao.
Like we are going to believe that you have NEVER used your radio... whatever.
