lowering a ZO6

How do you guys lower your ZO6, is it complicated to do, and which is the best way to do it, thank you :confused: :auto:

In another forum someone said how they lowered their Z06 for no cost, how is that done?

Here is one method. http://www.members.shaw.ca/superchargedvette/Tips.htm
Total cost $0. If you want to go lower than this way, get longer bolts 6 1/2"- 7" x 1/2" (or 9/16" if you can find them). On the front, cut 2/3 of the rubber bushing off. It will make sense if you look at the link provided first. Total cost of second option, $5-$10. :cheers:

Even if you lower it as low as stock will go, it still looks high. I am considering doing it the other way where you get the longer bolts. I still look like a high roller :) hehe

To align or not to align, that is the "on going" question.

I lowered mine 6 months ago, to factory limits, and did not align. I have not seen any uneven wear on any of the tires. :confused: :confused:
