I'm missing a piece from the headlight bezel.......question please.....
I just noticed last night that on the black bezel surrounding the headlight, specifically the left headlight on the inner side, there's a round plastic piece that's missing. Don't know where it went !!! Anyone know where I can get another one???? Thanks!!!! :seeya

I have the same problem the the headlight bezel. I am missing a piece on the side. I knew it was just an adjustment cover, do you guys think it be factory defect? Thanks

No I don't think it is a defect. It just becomes loose if not turned enough and locked in place. I even think I know when mine flew off when I turned the lights on. My dealer had it in stock and it is cheap.

The wind blows them out, if your headlights are adjusted put a dab of glue on them.
Maybe you have several of these laying around that you can offer up? Maybe you have several of these lying around that you can offer up? You know, From the Karshop.

Chevy changed the design because of the 'blowout' problem, I think for the 2000 cars, but my 2000 FRC (delivered in Nov 99) blew them both out, so it's hard to say when the change took place. They're all "twist in", but the earlier ones didn't have much of a detent to hold 'em in place, as I recall.
Anyway, the solution is to put just a dab of silicone sealer (you can get it in black, most anywhere) on the plug when you put the new ones in.
My 2003 plugs have not blown out at 168mph, so maybe the newer design does work.

Their is 3 different plugs, 97 and early 98 is the small one and it discontinued. then theirs the one that goes in and twist(has a slot for screw driver or quarter) then theirs the one thats smoth no slot that you just push in until it pops into place.
